Compressors with direct drive

 

The industrial compressor with a direct drive is positioned as a high-productive. Such equipment is equipped with a classic drive with a val-val system. That is, the engine wave is connected directly with the wave of the compressor execution mechanism, allowing the equipment to work with the highest CCD (up to 99.9%).

What gives the direct connection of the drive? - Direct drive compressors have the highest level of productivity. That is, if in the belt transmission compressors a part of energy is lost in the belt mechanism (the belt can slide, pull, etc.), then in the direct drive compressors there are no "parasitic" energy reflections. How much engine has produced energy, how much it is and transferred to the compressor's execution mechanism.

Compressors of this type are generally unavoidable to service and planned repairs.

Models with flexible muft

On large manufacturing and industrial objects, the most commonly used compressors with a flexible muft. The main advantage of such compressors is the gentle cling of the wave of the engine with the wave of the power unit of compression. If something happens with the compressor's execution mechanism (e.g., it will cling), then the wave engine itself will not be damaged, as the whole blow will take on the wave of the muft.
